Pixel 11 Series: Four Models, Higher Prices

The Pixel 11 lineup spans four variants: Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The design stays close to the Pixel 10 but adds a new RGB LED notification light called "Pixel Glow" and bumps base storage to 256GB. Leaks indicate a $100 price increase per model, attributed to the global memory chip shortage.

Pixel Watch 5: Doubled RAM and Emergency Features

The Pixel Watch 5 brings 3GB RAM (doubled from 2GB) and 64GB storage (doubled from 32GB) to power on-device Gemini AI. The 41mm starts at $399, the 45mm at $429. Pre-orders open August 13, with retail availability on August 20. A new safety feature — Emergency Sharing combined with Loss of Pulse Detection — can automatically call 911 and notify emergency contacts if the watch fails to detect a pulse.

Pixel Tag: Google{"'"}s $29 AirTag Rival

The Pixel Tag is Google{"'"}s first official item tracker, priced at approximately $29. It features a pill-shaped design with a built-in speaker, works with Google{"'"}s Find Hub network, and launches in a "Fog Light" colorway. The big question: UWB (Ultra-Wideband) support remains unconfirmed, which could limit directional tracking compared to Apple{"'"}s AirTag.

Android 17 and Gemini Updates

Android 17 will debut alongside the hardware announcements, bringing Gemini Intelligence deeper into the OS. For wearables, Wear OS 7 gains per-app media controls, a new Stacks layout replacing Tiles, and 10% system-level battery efficiency gains.
