Oura Ring 5 Design Leaked: Bigger Sensors, New Colors, But Years Away

The first images of the Oura Ring 5 have leaked — over a year before the product is expected to launch. Published by Gizmodo and corroborated by Gadgets & Wearables, the photos show a more refined ring that addresses some of the Gen 4's design limitations.

When It's Coming

Despite the early visibility of these prototypes, sources indicate the Oura Ring 5 won't launch until late 2027. Oura's typical product cycle has been roughly 18–24 months between generations. The Gen 4 launched in late 2024, which puts Gen 5 on track for late 2026 at the absolute earliest — though these leaked images suggest 2027 is more realistic.
