Steam Frame Reservation Closes Today at 10AM PT: Lottery Results and Purchase Emails Tomorrow

This is it — last call. The Valve Steam Frame reservation window closes today, September 17 at 10:00 AM Pacific. If you haven't signed up yet, you have hours left to enter the lottery for Valve's first standalone VR headset.

How the Lottery Works

Valve's system randomizes all entries submitted during the window — signing up today gives you exactly the same odds as someone who signed up September 14. After the 10AM cutoff, Valve shuffles entries and sends one of two emails:

• Confirmed reservation: A unit in your chosen model is reserved. Wait for a purchase email.
• Waitlist position: Your number came up past available stock. You move up if others cancel.

Purchase Timeline

Purchase emails start going out September 18 in shuffle order. You have 72 hours from that email to complete the purchase — miss it, and your reservation passes to the next person. One reservation per household to prevent scalping.

Should You Enter?
