The initial "Great on Frame" lineup includes five titles: Into Black, Titan Isles, Portal 2, Aperture Hand Lab, and The Lab. Notably, Portal 2 is a flatscreen game rather than a VR title, suggesting the Steam Frame is designed to handle traditional PC games streamed or run locally — not just native VR content.

Hardware Already Moving

Supporting the imminent-launch theory, roughly 32,000 kg of Steam Frame hardware cleared US customs in June, and the device's controllers passed through an FCC filing embargo that lifted on June 18. Both are typical precursors to a near-term retail launch.
