Garmin Releases Beta 22.26 for Fenix 8 Pro and Enduro 3: Nine Bug Fixes for Stability

Garmin has released beta System Software 22.26 for the Fenix 8 Pro, Fenix 8 AMOLED, Fenix 8 Solar, Enduro 3, Fenix E, and Tactix 8. This is a stability-focused update that follows the massive feature release from earlier this month.
What's Fixed in Beta 22.26
- Notification center: Long press and swipe down now work correctly even when the notification center is disabled
- Music app: Marquee text no longer stops scrolling when resuming the always-on display
- LiveTrack: Fixed a crash that could occur during live activity sharing
- Audio prompts: Resolved a crash when updating audio prompt files alongside device software
- Notification dismissal: Fixed possible crash when swiping away notifications
- Rock climbing: Down button now works properly when selecting difficulty for climbing or bouldering
- Boot animation: Watch correctly plays the startup animation again
- Spectator messaging: Vibration and sound alerts now fire when receiving spectator messages during activities
- Trail running: Track detection is no longer incorrectly enabled for trail run activities
Should You Install It?
If you're on the beta channel and experienced any of these issues — especially the LiveTrack crash or notification bugs — update immediately. If you're on stable firmware, wait for the public release. The Garmin Venu 4 at $549 also received a separate beta (17.16) with 24 improvements earlier this week.
