Garmin's next flagship watches have been confirmed in the most definitive way short of an official announcement: their names appeared inside Garmin's own software.

A developer tearing apart version 5.26 of the Garmin Connect Android app found direct references to the Garmin Fenix 9 and Garmin Enduro 4. These names were absent in version 5.25, meaning Garmin added them in the most recent update — a clear signal both devices are being prepared for launch.

What to Expect

• New processor: The most certain upgrade — likely a next-gen chip for improved battery life and performance
• MicroLED display option: Expected on Pro models, though standard models may retain AMOLED
• Satellite messaging: Potential built-in satellite communication capability
