Valve Steam Frame Officially Launches at $1,059: Reservations Open Until September 17

The wait is over. Valve officially launched the Steam Frame on September 14, revealing confirmed pricing and opening the reservation lottery. After months of leaks, FCC filings, and datamined setup videos, Valve's standalone VR headset is real — and it's priced at $1,059 (256GB) and $1,299 (1TB).

How to Reserve

Reservation signups are open now at store.steampowered.com and close Thursday, September 17 at 10:00 AM Pacific. Valve is using its familiar lottery system — sign up during the window, and the first batch of purchase emails goes out September 18. There's no guarantee of launch-day delivery, and past Valve hardware (Steam Deck) saw months-long queues.
