Garmin Connect 5.27 Teardown Reveals Enduro 4 'GOBI' Codename and Nine Unannounced Products

A fresh teardown of Garmin Connect version 5.27 has revealed nine internal product records, including a confirmed link between the Enduro 4 and the codename "GOBI" (product ID 5179). The findings build on the earlier Connect 5.26 leak that first exposed Fenix 9 and Enduro 4 references, adding significant new detail.

What the Teardown Found

• Enduro 4 confirmed: Product 5179, categorized under fitness, outdoor, golf, and wellness, is now tied to internal codename GOBI — matching the Enduro 4 reference found in version 5.26.
• Fenix 9 family: The remaining entries point to an unannounced watch family that multiple sources believe is the Fenix 9 lineup, potentially including Fenix 9, Fenix 9 Pro, and a new 43mm Pro variant.
• FCC certifications: Two new Garmin devices (models A05419 and A05420) were certified on July 14 as "Outdoor Products" — Garmin's classification for its Fenix, Epix, and Enduro lines.

Expected Features

Based on leaked specs and patent filings, the Fenix 9 is expected to feature an AMOLED+Solar display, tri-band GNSS, a new Muscle Battery metric, and potentially the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 2 chip. The standard Fenix 9 may go AMOLED-only, dropping the MIP display option, while the Fenix 9 Pro would retain a MicroLED variant as the top sapphire trim.

Launch Timeline

The convergence of app code leaks, FCC filings, and supply chain signals points to an August–October 2026 launch window. The Enduro 4 may arrive as early as August, following the two-year cycle from the Enduro 3's August 2024 launch. The Fenix 9 family is more likely for September–October.
