The company says certain production batches failed internal quality checks, and rather than ship potentially flawed units, it chose to retool and retest. This is the second delay for the Ring Pro — the original Kickstarter timeline targeted June shipping.

Despite the manufacturing hiccup, early Kickstarter backers who received units report strong performance: Engadget's reviewer wore the Ring Pro for 10 days on a single charge in Turbo Mode with 9% battery remaining, confirming the 15-day claim is realistic. The $479 price includes lifetime access to all health features with no subscription — a key advantage over Oura's $5.99/month model.
